Cat Squirrel lanzó su primer álbum, «Blues What Am», a finales de 2023, y se ha consolidado como una banda de blues compacta y potente de 5 integrantes. Cat Squirrel Trio está formado por Mike Vernon (voz), Kid Carlos (guitarra) y Mingo Balaguer (armónica). Aman lo que hacen, y se nota. La banda derrocha fuerza y pasión en vivo con un repertorio cuidadosamente elaborado que incluye canciones de su propia autoría, junto con grandes clásicos de Dr. Isaiah Ross, Jimmy Reed, T-Bone Walker, Jimmy Rogers y Little Walter.
En 2025, Cat Squirrel actuará en Europa en el fantástico «Dark Season Blues Festival» en el archipiélago polar de Svalbard en octubre de 2025, y en la República Checa. Actualmente, buscan tocar en España y Portugal. Mike Vernon MBE, célebre productor musical, considera que trabajar con Mingo y Carlos es un auténtico placer; dos caballeros que nacieron en el blues y en quienes se puede confiar para que Cat Squirrel siga vibrando y dando saltos en el blues durante muchos años.

Cat Squirrel released their first Album «Blues what Am», at the end of 2023, and have now established themselves as a compact and powerful 5-piece blues band. Cat Squirrel Trio is made up of Mike Vernon on vocals, Kid Carlos (Guitar) and Mingo Balaguer (Harmonica) and they love what they do, and it shows. The band exude strength and passion live with a carefully crafted repertoire that includes self-penned songs, along with great classics taken from the repertoires of Dr. Isaiah Ross, Jimmy Reed, T-Bone Walker, Jimmy Rogers and Little Walter.
In 2025 Cat Squirrel will be gigging in Europe at the fantastic «Dark Season Blues Festival» on the polar archipelago of Svalbard October 2025, and in the Czech Republic and are currently looking to play across Spain and Portugal. Mike Vernon MBE, celebrated music producer feels that working with Mingo and Carlos, is a total pleasure; two gentlemen who were born into the Blues and can be trusted to keep Cat Squirrel rocking and jumping the Blues for many years to come.
